Christmas is over and Eric was a total trooper. He helped open the presents and he thoroughly enjoyed putting the used wrapping paper into the trash. Rich got him a bear about three times his size and he gave the bear lots of snuggles. It's just too cute. During the second family Christmas that we host, he sat at the table and ate dinner with everybody and then he played with his new train while we opened presents. He was just so good. He lasted nearly an hour before he started to run around the first floor of the house.

Then we put him down for the night and he crashed.

meanwhile, we're trying to pin down a contractor for our Harrison street project. We went over there yesterday morning to meet with this contractor named 'Steve.' I think he'll be OK if we end up using him. I'm just really worried we won't be able to do this for the budget we have. It's not a lot of square footage, but everything is so expensive. I hope we're not biting off more than we can chew.
