Long time no blog....

So, I got a call around two on monday that Eric had an er, gastro-intestinal complaint and I had to come get him. They sent him home with a note that said he had to be better for 24 hours before they would let him back into school. Rich had an interview on Tuesday, so I just stayed home with him. It was pretty fun. He was feeling totally fine so I took him to the zoo. We were the only people there. Unfortunately they didn't have the baby jaguars out, but we still had a good time.

Wednesday night we took him to my office holiday party. This party is the most kid-friendly office party in history. They have a whole room devoted to kids meals and entertainment. There were dozens of other parents chasing their toddlers around with me, so we were in good company. Eric had one gastro-intestinal event while we were there, but I got his diaper changed pretty quickly and then we played and played.

I'm starting to get really excited about the Harrison Street addition. My dad made Rich a model of it for his birthday. I think we found a contractor we like. His references have been stellar, and I've talked to 3 out of 4 of them. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that we can make the house livable in 12 weeks. It's a pretty major change...
