Lately when Eric hurts himself he'll try to re-enact whatever he just did to show us why he's upset. The other day, he whacked his head on the stairs and he stood there, tears streaming down his face and deliberately re-whacked his head in slow motion.

Yesterday he was holding a small board book above his head and he was looking at it. Then he accidentally dropped the book on his head. He stood there yelling as Rich and I threw our arms around him and he grabbed a similar book and held it over his head to show us what terrible thing had occurred.
