Welcome Kaylee Pearl-Soleil!

Kaylee was born at 10:46 AM on Easter Sunday. She's absolutely perfect! Eric is quite pleased with the new arrival, but he's not quite sure what she's for yet. He's been a total trouper about the whole thing. I am SO proud of him. Last night Rich rocked Kaylee for an hour or so and I did Eric's regular bedtime ritual bath, books and cuddles. It was awesome.

We came home from the hospital a day early because we both felt fine and wanted to be home and comfortable. The hospital is a nice place to be with a first baby, but with the second, you just want to go home and start your life again. Plus there was a little baby-boom this weekend at NEMC, so the staff was having trouble keeping up with everybody.

All I will say about the delivery, is what I've been saying about the whole pregnancy. I'm glad that it's over and I'll never do this again. My immediate family unit is complete. Rich, Margaret Eric and Kaylee. And that's about as perfect as life gets.

Yaay!

Kaylee is a bit high maintenance at the moment and I'm recovering and resting. But we should be ready for visitors in a couple of days.

Thanks to all my beloved friends and family who have endured my grumping this last month.

Love to all,

Congratulations and I hope young Kaylee works out how be a bit more "low maintenance" pretty quickly!
