So, I had resigned myself to my glider cushions being lost forever. Boston Baby was closed. A wonderful good Samaritan who read my blog gave me an older glider, so I am set if the baby comes.
But I still wanted to get cushions for my Dutailier glider, because I love it. It's a great chair to read to kids and it's so comfortable for nursing or just watching a little TV or reading some chick-lit.
So, I called Babies R us. They said they couldn't order the pillows for me, (my glider model was too old) but they had an 800 number for Dutailier. So, I called them and I said the place I ordered my pillows from had gone out of business.
"Boston Baby?" She asked kindly.
"Yes!" I said.
"What is your last name?" I told her and she pulled my order in about five seconds and gave me the number of their local Massachusetts rep. I called him and told him what was going on. He's having my cushions redirected to "Baby Furniture Warehouse" in Reading. He thought they'd be there by next week.
So, I guess I'm back on track! Whoo HOO! So, anybody who has had trouble with Dutailier orders from Boston Baby can call 800-363-9817 and they may be able to redirect your delivery to a different store.
How cool is that?
