The condo is on the market.

PFEW! And we're almost done with the work inside. The first open house in on Sunday and we'll probably be working all day Saturday to get it just right.

In some very irritating news, my upstairs neighbor took down our real estate sign because it was in 'his' garden. I take issue with this on a number of levels.

First of all, I wish I had thought of that ahead of time. But the winter has been so long that I just didn't think about any of the gardens.

However, we would have moved it ourselves if he had asked us. And furthermore, he doesn't have exclusive rights to any of the land around the house. So, he really had no right to go pulling it up without warning.

I was yelling about it last night and Rich was furious because our back door was open and they were home. It's the biggest difference between me and him that he really cares about stuff like that and I don't. In any case, it made me really cranky. I feel better now, but I think we should respond to it somehow. I just don't know how to do it without seeming petty.

On the one hand, we're moving, why rock the boat? On the other hand, ripping up the sign was really abusive and I don't want to let it go. I don't want him to feel like he has exclusive rights to any part of the property except the parking spaces.

Oh well.. Not much I can do about it now. But I'm still smarting.

In other Boy news, E and Rich were watching Sesame Street. Ernie was doing a version of his "I don't want to live on the Moon" with a large bearded African American man who I think was Aaron Neville. I asked Rich "Who is that?" He said, "I don't know, but Eric seems to think it's me." And sure enough, E was pointing to the TV and saying "Da Da!" Then he pointed to Rich and said "Da Da." He clearly thought the guy on the TV was the same person as Rich. It was really funny.

Cheered me up a lot after the sign incident.
